Maybe if Senator Clinton wasn't so busy collecting food for the hungry
in early priamry states (http://www.hillaryclinton.com/feature/thanksgiving/), she would have had time to look into how the Clinton welfare reform is failing the hungry in New York State:

Hey, I'm happy she's helping some people to get fed this year, but people should not have to be dependent on the hand-outs of others to feed their families, especially when food banks can't meet the increasing need:

2. I guess she should feed everyone in the United States
or feed no one at all. There is no middle ground? I am not her biggest fan, but I would never begrudge anyone who feeds those in need regardless of where they are. ALL politicians are panderers. All of them.

6. I'm upset that the Clinton Welfare reform has left working Americans
still dependent on the charity of others to feed their families. The Clinton Welfare reforms have given New York State a federal block grant to eliminate the probelm of hunger, and New York State is diverting the funds. If Senator Clinton hasn't pressured politicians in New York to take care of this, what will she do as President CLinton?

8. My entire family and circle of friends were MUCH better off under Clinton!
Don't you think that the Bush policies for the past seven years, which has included two wars, had anything to do with the economy today?

4. excuse me while I
:puke: over this puerile attack. You don't suppose 7 FREAKIN' YEARS of bush economics and a trillion dollar war could have anything to do with it??? Nope. You'd rather excoriate Clinton for Welfare reform rather than assign the lion's share of blame where it properly belongs. Pathetic.

7. Currently, New York State is sitting on a " $1.5 billion dollar surplus from federal welfare reform"
http://www.hungeractionnys.org/leg.htm

yet, "Over two million (2.1) New Yorkers rely on Emergency Food Programs (EFPs), or soup kitchens and food pantries, each year."

http://www.hungeractionnys.org/hungerny.htm

This goes back to 1990.

If Senator Clinton has had anything to say about this, I missed it.
