Poll: Obama Leading Clinton Among Women Among Likely Iowa Caucus Goers
Edited on Tue Nov-20-07 02:27 AM by ClarkUSA
Summarizing the new ABC/Washington Post poll released last evening, y'all know by now that Obama leads Clinton 30%-26%
with Edwards at 22%.

What you may not know is "Obama also leads among those who are "certain to attend" the January 3rd caucus, those who have previously
caucused, and those who are planning to caucus for the first time... also... he's the candidate who is resonating the most with women
voters. 32% of women polled are supporting Obama, compared with 31% for Clinton and 19% for Edwards.... Obama doubled Clinton's
support among Independent voters (Obama 35% to Clinton 18%)-- another indicator that he will be the strongest candidate going into
the general election."

Oh, and they favor a "change" candidate who's "new" over one with "strength and experence" by 55%-33%.

Bless those Iowans.

2. IA/NH are paying closer attention now and finding they like what they see in Obama more and more.

That's why he's been trending up and Clinton's been trending down in both states for the past month.

6. I wonder how long it will be before Hillary starts the major
mud slinging. Watch for the Obama "scandal" to hit. She has no intention of losing -

7. She tried already with Bob Novak. She failed miserably.
But I have NO doubt whatsoever that Hillaryworld will try again, so we'll both be watching, JeanGrey.

19. Ah! I see today that Obama confessed to drug use, of pot
and cocaine, and a checkered past as a young man. So he defuses Hillary before she can start. Smart move.

4. Terrible news for Obama supporters!!
Because, up to now, all Iowa polls have been lies and were the product of an evil corporate conspiracy of the main stream pro-Clinton media and paid DU posters.
Unless you're saying that because this poll favors Obama, suddenly all polls are legitimate, accurate, and fair representations of public opinion?
Is that what you're saying?

8. I'll quote David Schuster: "It's 44 days until the Iowa caucuses and Obama is moving up fast!"
Now wipe the spittle from your mouth.

5. I'm beginning to lean towards Obama as well.
Not out of any hate for Hillary, of course--she's a wonderful person, really--but because he's a fresh face.

Yes, yes, I know Bush was too, but the difference is that Obama is naturally curious--and he'll be quick to learn.

Unfortunately I disagree - Obama has made a ton of mistakes in the last few months and I don't think he has learned anything from them - because his actions have not changed.

10. He's learning fast alright.
What mistakes has he made? What actions haven't changed? List them, please. Because it's obvious he's
doing just great with the voters that matter: Iowa likely caucus goers.

11. Well here is one for you
He has yet to apologize tot he GLBT community for allowing someone to spew spiritual terrorism at his gospel concert. A simple "Im sorry" would have gone a long way. Feel free to disagree - however Im not in the minority in the politically active GLBT community that feel this way.

Edited on Tue Nov-20-07 07:13 PM by FreeState
I thought we were talking about Obama learning from his mistakes... I don't recall him making a mistake on that issue. You said he was learning fast in reply to me - show me where hes learning...

That's all.

And I wasn't the one who said "he was learning fast".

What's the latest figure on the money rolling into Iowa because of this horserace polling obsession? Smart Iowans, yes. Jersey is real good at it as well.
