Current events and past history demand that Democrats choose wisely this time, and take a long hard look at national security and foreign policy credentials.

I do believe that Obama is the only candidate who can best tranform our politics and image in the world, so he's my first choice. But, regardless, we a MUST address these issues in a serious way on the ticket this time around.

If Obama wins I'd like to see an Obama/Biden or Obama/Clark ticket. I realize Obama/Clark is less likely because of Clark's endorsement of Clinton. Either way, it would be a great ticket and new, powerful image for America to present to the world. If Biden wins the nomination, I'd have no trouble enthusiastically supporting him for President.

If Hillary should win, I'm hoping for Clinton/Clark. However, I do believe Obama is the candidate who can best truly tranform America's image in the world and our politics, so he remains my first choice.

1. I agree -- the dems must refute the lie of the WOT...
...and promote national security through gutting and reforming U.S. foreign policy. The way to national security is NOT through being the biggest bully on the planet or through neocolonialist imperialism. Dems need to articulate foreign policy ALTERNATIVES, not advance a dem flavor of the same old same old failed-- and immoral-- policies.
