Who is REALLY your ideal candidate? (Issue by issue poll)
Edited on Mon Sep-24-07 01:17 PM by annabanana
This is an amusing, issue by issue poll that I enjoyed. (Not surprisingly, Kucinich was my #1)

Go do it, and report back. I'm interested how it really falls...

1. Kucinich for me. But notably, Clinton and Obama were not far behind.

2. Couldn't be more wrong in my case.

It said - and I am not going to mention who - that I should vote for the candidate who is my least favorite of the 8!

Biden came in 4th, and I even lied on the first question and said my #1 priority in Iraq was the partition.

Maybe I should go back and tell the truth.

8. Kucinich, which was no great surprise, but I don't think this is a terribly good poll
It said I agree with Hillary on health care when, in fact, I want universal single-payer, and she wants mandatory industry-controlled care. Not a match at all.

Also, on some questions, two answers might have been acceptable, but you pick one, and that means you either agree or disagree (no grey areas as far as I can tell). Further, when you disagree, you don't get to see what that candidate's pick would supposedly have been.

I like the idea, but not the implementation.

I wish the general public had a more widely available options to this -- and the results.

I suspect DK would jump much higher in the pack if this fucking process was actually based on issues.

11. Dodd, Clinton, Obama...
I am against the Death Penalty otherwise would have been a three way tie...

Course this does not measure the assessment of a persons ability etc...

Edited on Mon Sep-24-07 01:48 PM by redqueen
The rest, in order of agreement:

Gravel
Dodd
Richardson
Clinton
Obama
Paul
Edwards

That last one was a shocker... didn't know Edwards was pro-death penalty.

At least so far.

18. First time- Kucinich..then I was honest about immigration and
went back and forth on the line item veto and the death penalty. After more thought I tried again and it came up Richardson. No way. I just don't like the guy. The second, third and fourth were Edwards and Clinton and Obama with all the same scores. I suppose this issue by issue poll just shows that I'm a Democrat. heh

Which is actually pretty much the way the issues roll out for me.

In last place: Scrotum Face Thompson.

27. Kucinich at 70,
but all of the Dems were okay. What scared the hell out of me is that most of the Republicans were in single digits. WTF? I think Guiliani came in at about 35, and I would rather floss with a razor blade every day for four years than see him as president.
