1. Another poll to create the next candidate.
I really have to start saying how offended I am by polls. It's like putting up Christmas ads in August.

And why is it Kucinich gets 1%? The single best candidate I've seen in decades.

People, do not pay attention to these manipulative productions. Turn off the hype. Make your own decisions.

16. Kucinich gets 1 percent because that's the level of support for him in the real world
If you're offended by polls, you must really hate thunderstorms, right?

17. eh? That's the support he got for the 1000 or 500 people who were polled
in New Hampshire, surely.

20. But that makes assumptions.
And very good ones, I admit. I don't hate thunderstorms per se. But I do hate the people who (looking for a nonoffensive metaphor)(can't find one) eat up the corporate garbage. If you listen to music, you might understand what I mean. There is commercial radio and noncommercial. And most people just love commercial radio. They haven't stepped up and looked for an alternative. I know it was that way for me. I was shocked when I found an alternative to the same songs over and over, broken up by the most disgusting ads. The same thing applies to everything. And politics. And candidates. Americans don't think. They don't do the homework. Of course that's not totally true. Until the last couple of years of my life, I only lived and knew progressive, educated people. Now I know what happened to this country. The lazy can vote.

Having said that-

-Can someone actually prove this is a real poll? (I know, shut up. In some ways it's unlikely. In others, not so unlikely.)
-Is this simply positive feedback? Are people ignoring Kucinich because of POLLS? My guess is that is a very big factor here. See commercial radio explanation. I guess the word "sheep" comes to mind.

5. Good for Hillary...
However, people should be aware that SV has some questionable Republican leanings.

9. There is no way HRC is going to lose a state in which 2/3 of people are in the NYC tv market
Edited on Wed Aug-29-07 11:25 PM by draft_mario_cuomo
And NYC has considerable radio influence over most of the state's population and the NYT is also influential in north jersey. Clinton probably got more coverage in that part of the state than NJ's own senators. Ghoul benefits from all this as well, given the prominence the mayor of NYC has in this media market.

I noticed no complaints about SV when Obama did well in its latest Iowa poll...

14. You're wrong again.
I posted the IA results and you may want to look at the caveat i inserted in the comments to refresh your memory.

Secondly, i never suggested Hillary is not the frontrunner in NJ. I said "good for her" given these numbers.

Whatever the case, this is just another effort by you to try to disrupt and stir up shit. Enough already.

10. I don't get it. Has everyone lost it?
Do they really want Hilary, Carville and Begala's management back in place of what we have now with Dean and the grass/netroots?

18. You all are accepting this without asking
how many people were polled and how were they selected to participate in this poll and what are their demographic makeup?

21. They haven't lost it. They never had it.
I made the analogy of the hoards of people who lap up commercial radio and tv. About a quarter century ago, I went on a search for something better. But first I had to want something better. I was lucky I even thought of it. And lo and behold, there it was. And all of these years later, I'm still enthralled with it. There is what we are being fed, and there is something hidden that takes uncovering. Argh, this is not well written. Partly because I don't want to say "college radio". People here don't even get it.

Let's just say there is FOX and there is Linktv.

I would call our election system a corporate election system. They feed us, and we just eat it up. Unless we think.

Oh, this reminds me of what I was thinking of last night!!!

Why is it the conservative media is all "Clinton! Obama! Clinton! Obama!"? I don't see them screaming and shouting about the republican candidates. Why is this? And it applies to the polls. I'm not seeing the number of republican polls as Democratic polls.
