Dems: Weak Line-Up?!
I've been reading this site for a while now -- but I've only started posting just a few days ago.

Before really getting too far into the comments of this site's users, I was really proud of the line-up for the Democratic Party Presidential Campaign.

I am still proud -- and I believe we really do have a strong line-up here, personally believing Hillary Clinton being a big part of that strength.

But ...
Why does it feel like the Dem line-up sucks, after reading the comments of Democratic Underground users?

You would think that wouldn't be the case.
I expected to come back to this site, after a political hiatus, to an overjoyed group; a group focused on bringing light to the shadows of the Republican candidates.

The Democrats seem to have put together a real legitimate group here; a group with individual winners.

But, to read the comments here, you'd never know it.

Peace.

1. I don't think it's a particularly strong group.
Luckily we are going up against the political equivalent of the Washington Generals over there.

2. Don't pay too much attention to the comments.
DU went thru this last primary season, although it seems that it's worse this time around.

We have a great field of candidates. I may have critical comments about some of them, but I'm still going to vote for the nominee. I don't always agree with Obama, but that doesn't mean he isn't a great candidate.

IF Hillary Clinton gets the nomination, I will gladly vote for her. Especially, if I can see Freeper heads explode when she's declared the winner of the presidency.

Connie --

Appreciate that.
I think those sentiments are echoed around this country.

6. at would give me great joy and a reason to vote for her even if she wasn't my
first choice. It would give me great joy to see them wreathe in pain for eight long years.

19. You and me and many others!
I would have no questions about Hillary or anyone else if Clark would only run. My last hope will be when his new book comes out...I think Sept. 4th.
That would be good publicity to get one all the Networks to push his book and run for President. What a great book tour that would make! However I'm afraid that is just wishful thinking.

12. I think it's a stronger field than the Repukes.
I prefer Al Gore, but any of the Dem candidates would bring in an amazing Cabinet and great appointees!

15. I think that's the other party that the weak lineup
The Democrats have a good lineup, the GOP is the party with the weak one. You can't base anything on comments on this site, because most people here expect every candidate to side with them on all issues, otherwise they get bashed.

17. I thought Bush would be a weak candidate,
and that Gore would run over him.

Shows what I know.

The candidates with the highest ideals are considered second tier(in spite of doing very well in the debates). That leaves us with more of the same old..same old.

Give me somebody who will defend the Constitution and the Bill of Rights....for a change.

20. I think it's a decent bunch.
Seems to be a fairly good range of views out there (relatively speaking).

The Repubs are like a traveling circus.
