11. This is the first time I've seen the video after hearing comments about it.

I think Matthews' comments were in reference to his colleague's posture. She was hunched over & her face was more prominent than the rest of her body; Matthews comment about "leaning in closer" was sarcasm about the fact that her face was already too close.

As for the comments implying that Matthews was being sexist, the woman wasn't even wearing a low-cut blouse.

primarily the fact that he is so entranced with superficial and surface appearances and attributes of presidential candidates. I saw Chris recently interview the YouTube Obama girl, The Hillary girl and the Giuliani girl all together in one studio with him. Looked like he was going to faint with these three pretty young females in the room!

If anyone else saw that interview, this most recent fawning incident should come as no surprise. He was just falling all over himself trying to get one of the young lovlies to pay attention to him. pathetic.
