Women Hating Bastards
OK, here's the deal: Two entities in one body ~~ a woman and a fetus. According to Roe v. Wade, which is still the law of the land, ONLY one of those entities has Constitutional rights and that is the woman. Well, today, she not only has NO Constitutional rights as to certain issues, she has NO right to live if her life is threatened by a continued pregnancy and the best and safest way to save her is what they have terms a Partial Birth Abortion.

In other words, fuck her ~~ she counts for NOTHING. Those mother fucking, women hating bastards are now in control.

5. That does appear to be the mantra of the RW nuts.
Edited on Wed Apr-18-07 04:56 PM by Hepburn
A fetus is precious and even if it will NOT live after birth and the woman will die, no PBA cuz we believe in the sanctity of life. Starving abandonded living children and babies ~~ do not matter to them. Dead women do not not matter to them....but any fetus is king.

Who the hell's life do they care about??? Fuck them RWs ~~ fuck them all. If anyone had any doubt that the mantra of the RW nutcakes is "bare footed and pregnant," today's USSC decision most certainly proved that up. Actually, it should be "bare footed, pregnant and we don't give a shit if you die."

I am totally disgusted by these women hating bastards!

Edit to correct grammar.

36. "Love affair of the fetus" - somebody was castigated severely for telling the truth awhile back...
baby making factories...

rules made by men for women that only apply to women and exclude men...

when will it all end (the unjustness, the unfairness, the criminality...)...

then, you're on your own, baby. Sorry to be so cynical but I think it's true in many, many cases....unless they get sick and then they're back.

3. The women of America should just clamp their legs together, and tell their men:
NO MORE SEX! I cannot and will not risk my life if something should happen and I end up getting pregnant. Condoms fail, so NO MORE SEX!

Of course, this does nothing to stop the rapists, molesters, etc. :(

6. This ruling ENRAGES me
These misogynistic bastards are rolling back the rights of 50% of this country and the media isn't even mentioning it.

Today has not been a good day. Women have no rights, people who are out of the ordinary are soon to be branded as potential mass murderers (note the psychological/behavioral post-mortem being done on the VTech shooter), our leader seems obsessed with death yet without feeling and willing to send limitless numbers of those precious lives he CLAIMS he wants to make sure get to breathe into a fucking war ...

I'm just left shaking my head and wondering what kind of an insane country I'm living in ...

9. You and me both!
I am nearly 60 years old ~~ so personally abortion is NOT any issue to me. However, making women out to be expendable is just the tip of the iceberg with these bartards. This ruling today is totally symptomatic of how the RW assholes view women ~~ EXPENDABLE. For anyone to support that a legislative intent tops medical opinion as to what is life threatening as the emergency is taking place is unmitigated, women hating bullshit.

I, too, am enraged beyond belief. Fuck those bastards. And thank you Justice Ginsberg for standing up for what is right!

43. These bastards have decided that the law gives them
the right to allow the religious beliefs of one segment of society to determine
the reproductive fate of the rest of us.

fuck these people.

I am past child bearing age, but no person will tell me that my daughter
or my future granddaughters would have to bear a child they did not want
or plan for.

To say that a woman should be forced to carry the child of rape or incest
because it is their particular religious belief, is to say that their god
must be all in favor of the act that produced that pregnancy.
This is not religion. It is insanity.

This is not just a women's rights issue, this is a get the fucking government out from between me and my health care provider issue.

I don't think they limit their lust for control to women's reproduction; they want to control and micro-manage everyone's life. Today's decision is just a foot in the door.

What's next???? They outlaw ANY medical procedure which is necessary under particular circumstances to save a life....what the hell will these RW bastards do next?

This is just absolutely WRONG. If a life is at stake it us up to TRAINED MEDICAL PERSONNEL ON THE SCENE to determine what is necessary and to act with the consent of the patient or the rep of the patient. It is NOT up to some legislature 4 years ago to decided this issue.

And the VA Tech shooting has sent me into ranting over that lately. People who weren't there complain and criticize that whoever should have done whatever and something would not have happened.

This is no different. A doctor--who is incidentally a person who literally makes life and death decisions every day--is seconded guessed by a bunch of jesus-freaks who think they know more than the person with the problem right in front of them.

13. Impeachment time for SC

1. No Voting on Supreme Court nominees until Bush is removed from office.

2. Remove Bush and Cheney from office.

3. Impeach sitting SC justices who overreached in 2000 and stopped the counting of votes in Florida.

4. Nominate and approve SC justices who affirm the right to life of pregnant women.

Let 's start collecting information on the money justices are receiving from outside, right-wing sources and information on Scalia's mental functioning.
Let's start talking and writing about the right-wing culture of death.
Let's reclaim the language. We are the pro-life people-they are the pro-death people/pro suffering people--promoting deaths of women, soldiers, Iraqis, serial and mass-murder victims, promoting torture.

20. So.....what's next?
We bring back the "Rule of Thumb" so that it is OK for a man to beat a woman as long as he does not do too much damage?

How about we take away the vote? I mean, after all, we are too emotional and full of hormones to make a rational decision, right? If we are not able to conference with our medical providers on life threatening pregnancies and decide what is best for us and our bodies, we should NOT be voting.

Makes just about as much sense as that bullshit decision of today!

Man, am I totally steamed!!!!!

21. Re Anti Abortion and against free birth control to 3rd world
THE FRUITS OF YOUR LABOR

Their small gross bellies are fat
Are they fat with bread and meat?
They are fat with wind and worms
Eyes filled with flies and snot
And emptiness…these old men children
These living skeletons you’ve begot
By your complacence and raucous ravings
Withholding ways and means and caring
You’re foolish pratings of “right to life”
You call that life? What kind of life that
Clings with tiny scrawny claws to scrawny
Empty tits? Are these your proof of justification
These starving waifs your consecration?
Will God smile on you for these?
He does not seem to smile on them.
When you dedicate yourselves to sacrifice
Eschew your rights to those soft beds, those
Groaning boards, go naked in the wilderness
Then all your pious shoutings will not be empty
Mouthings and your silly bluster will have
Substance and some worth…til then be still!
Your senseless winds are but the ravings of
Blind idiots with hollow hearts
And empty hands.

22. Yup. SCOTUS needs to STFU.
So do the preachers, the pundits, and the politicians -- at least those who've never had to deal with the terrible no-win decisions that surround abortion when it's happening in their own lives. I know that a lot of men don't think of it that way, but a lot more of them do than some folks assume. I'm speaking from personal experience here, actually -- I wrote an essay post on it from a guy's side of the great divide earlier, but it's too long to put into a comment so I'll just link to it here instead:

24. Agreed- this is why Bush vs. Gore was so important
our reproductive rights hung in the balance. And so many other rights. He's successfully gutted the "freedoms" he claims the "terrists" hate us for.

Since 2000 I have felt like a different person. A person that doesn't any longer believe in the essential good of human hearts, a person that doesn't just disagree with Republicans, but finds herself LOATHING them for their stupidity and disregard for our nation and it's people, and the world and it's people. My mother loves Bush. Since 2000 our relationship has become almost non-existent. The last time I was at their house, I made this huge faux paus of saying that Iraq was beginning to look like Vietnam (which my father fought in) and got reprimanded because, "Vietnam never attacked us!". How do you deal with such stupidity? Such intentional blindness? Someone fill me in because a day like today with this court ruling makes me boil with rage and sorrow.

30. I posted this on another thread about this subject:
Karma is a bitch ~~ and I am waiting until some female member of the families one of these assholes that voted in favor of this ban to be found in this situation. Then maybe one of these bastards will get the idea that women are NOT merely expendable baby incubation systems.

Please Note: Under NO circumstances would I ever wish this on anyone and this post in no manner indicates this feeling in any manner.

However, I am well aware that when one does harm, one is paid back in kind x three. These dickless "legal wonders" who probably could not get it up if their lives depended on it...they did harm and IMO they can expect that good karma will not smile upon them.

I am just livid. This could be a big, fat wake-up to women in the US. These 5 assholes may rue the day that they made this decision.

Be prepared to put it behind you after the convention. What happened today can only be reversed by a Congree that repeals the law and a President who signs the legislation. And there's only one way to make that happen. We need a Democratic Congress and a Democratic President.
