Washington Post Fails to Connect Dots: the president approved Attorneygate and should be Impeached
Ever since Bob Woodward and Carl Bernstein brought down Nixon, The Washington Post has been known for hard-hitting investigative journalism. Sadly, the paper’s current coverage of Attorneygate leaves something to be desired. Their latest article on the scandal, written by Dan Eggen and Paul Kane and published in this morning’s Post, mentions an Albuquerque Journal article which is the latest break in the Attorneygate scandal. Yet, Dan Eggen and Paul Kane failed to connect the story’s dots: the president was in on the plan.

Today’s article in the Post focused primarily on the contradictions between what Gonzalez has said about Attorneygate and what ex-justice officials have said. Essentially, using either public or easily attainable information, the Post outlined what a liar Gonzalez is. The problem is that this is old news. Granted there is more evidence everyday, but Gonzalez is no longer the story. The involvement of Karl Rove and the president is the story.

because he was becoming somewhat unstable.

Woodward, just 4 months at the WaPost out of Naval Intelligence, was driving the car that was provided him.

3. Agree with this post--everyone is focusing on Gonzales, when they
really should be looking at the rotting HEAD of the fish.
