Al Sadr calls for Iraqis to end cooperation with the U.S., start attacking

2. commentary
this could be taken in several ways. My personal view is that it demonstrates (again) that we are the problem. Al Sadr says stop the infighting. If we step aside - problem solved.

Of course the rw would say that is retreating - but we have no purpose in being there - ACCORDING TO THE ADMINISTRATION - but to stop the fighting and achieve "stability". The political solution is at hand, if we will just get out of the way and let it happen.

We should call on him to meet with Sunni leaders and mutually agree to call for truce if we leave. We should agree to leave if they will do that. We all shake hands, we pack up and leave, and if they break the truce and go at each other like cats and dogs, not our problem.

This is an opportunity on a silver platter, and if bush won't take it, the dems should be howling like a pack of wolves.
