Not just show trials - they really hate any trials. And habeas corpus
They long for the day that the entire country is like Guantanamo and they can just incarcerate whom they please when they please. Whatever happened to the "rule of law" they used to shriek so loudly about in the Clinton Administration?

Remember, Clinton's crime involved sex and we all know how obsessed with sex crimes the republicans are.

Who is scared of a "show trial"? If they haven't done anything wrong, and there's no evidence, who cares?

4. Some of our very own presidential candidates aren't too fond of habeas corpus, either.
Bill Richardson voted NO on maintaining right of habeus corpus in Death Penalty Appeals.
