"Average" Joe vs the billious Billo .... this IS Bizarro World.
So ..... Keith Olbermann decalred war on Billo many moons ago. The brass in Secaucus saw the benefit to them in allowing this little squabble to continue.

Keith escalated.

Billo escalated.

Keith upped the ante again. Billo saw it and raised.

Dan Abrams, newly minted MSNBC General Manager promoted the whole war idea.

Tucker the Shrill joined in with his now defunct 'Beat the Press' segment's at-least-weekly bashing of Billo. But we all know Tucker's a second rate flack of a sock-puppet in the wind who does what he's told (or face being out of yet **another** cablenewz gig).

So now, the guy with an actual modicum of creds, Joe Scarborough, is going after Billo, too.

Don't take my tepid praise of Average as an endorsement, but I will grudgingly allow that he is not altogether unfair and has been pretty even handed, considering that he is, in fact, a Southern Strategy, Reagan Revolution (dead intern?) congressman.

But to my warped eye, it is just hilarious to listen to him bash Billo, too. Not hilarious in what he says, but hilarious in the fact that there's probably little if any ideological difference betwixt Average and Billo, and yet, there's ol' Average, bashing away for what is almost certainly nothing more than marching orders from the Secaucus Brass.

Nice, Joe ...... you fucking sad-assed suck-up.

2. Thanks
The first segment about W in South America turned me off. Crawford saying how Chavez may be behind the demonstrations. As if W isn't down there laying groundwork for dirty work. All of them treating it oh-so-lightly.

And then Joe's going after BO. Gimme a break. I think he's doing it the way they make Keith do his Keeping Tabs segment - with molars grinding. Granted, there's a little bit of job security in there. I'm sure Joe enjoys his job on MSNBC and wouldn't want to see it go bye-bye.

3. Maybe Joe is piling on, because it is so easy.
Joe blew me away, when he said:

SNIP:
I gave a speech this weekend and was asked my opinion on Iraq. I suggested that the price to military readiness and the federal budget was too great to continue down a failed path indefinitely. After the speech I was confronted by a retired military officer who suggested that I was aiding terrorists, smoking dope and having sex with Jane Fonda. (Anyone who knows me will tell you I have never knowingly aided terrorists.)

Read the whole thing...Have to give him credit! Thank you Joe.
