3. I LOVE the Dixie Chicks - not only for their unapologetic stand on

Bush and the war, but for their music, too!

I just watched Shut Up and Sing, the documentary about them. Everyone who supports the First Amendment should watch it. They are the living embodiment of the principle of FREE SPEECH and all it means.

To the Freepers: I may disagree with what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it. Can YOU say the same thing about liberals and the Dixie Chicks?????? If not, you do not deserve to call youself Americans.

That's the place to go to defend the Dixie Chicks. The country music rednecks don't care about the First Amendment. And that is very sad and scary.

The Chicks need to move beyond Country. Country is too establishment. There are more anti-establishment artists in Alt Rock/Pop. Hell, mainstream pop is less offensive than Country!
