Der Mittenfuhrer touts GOP support - in his home state (Since when is Mass. his home state?)
BOSTON -- It looks like Arizona Senator John McCain may be getting under former Governor Mitt Romney's skin.

One day after McCain announced he was being endorsed by former Acting Governor Jane Swift, Romney's campaign released a statement outlining his support within the Massachusetts Republican establishment.

It notes that two of the five Republican state senators and 18 of the 19 Republicans in the House are supporting him.

Romney is also touting endorsements from one out of two Republican mayors in Massachusetts, three of the state's four Republican sheriffs and all three of its Republican district attorneys.

Three G-O-P senators backing former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani include Richard Tisei of Wakefield, Bruce Tarr of Gloucester and Michael Knapik of Westfield.

Remember, Der Mittenfuhrer is from Michigan-- just like Michael Moore.

4. Beat me to the punch . . . he got the residency rules essentially waived when he ran in MA . . . .

After all, he did take a resident tax deduction for his house in Utah during Snowapalooza back whenever that was, and then he does his announcement in Michigan?

Whatever, WILLARD.

2. GOP support in his home state?
Yes, his GOP support in a state where all 10 Representatives and both Senators are Democrats and have been for about 10 years now, in a state that has voted for a repuke for president only twice in the last 50 years, in a state where the incumbent Democratic Senator runs unopposed, in a state where registered Democrats outnumber registered repukes by about a 3-1 margin, will be a CRITICAL asset in the next election. :sarcasm:

Well, if he gets all the repuke votes in Massachusetts, he only needs to pick up another million+ votes or so in Mass just to have a shot at winning the state. As far as presidential elections go, being the most popular repuke in Massachusetts is like being the most popular Jewish person in Iran... it's just not saying very much.

3. I had the misfortune of hearing him briefly on the radio with
I think it was Howie Carr today. They were talking about the Libby trial and Willard made a real fool of himself. He said that Fitz made a mess of things going after Libby when he knew all along it was ArMItage (accent on the wrong syllable and spoken with a french accent intended), like he was talking about cheese). :puke: Thank goodness my wait time was up, I could turn the car off and him as well!
