A thought on the eventual impeachment of Bush and Cheney....

...the effort being put forth by the House is thoughtful and deliberate. The leadership is building such a compelling case for impeachment and removal that there will be no grey areas for obfuscation. Yes, we all want these despicable, psychotic men removed post haste, but I believe that within 6 months we will have just that (my personal prediction is that within 30 days the articles will be filed).

I'll place your post there as a reminder. The challenge will be to get conviction after impeachment. Impeachment will be the easy part because the votes are most likely there already.
That being said, the Democrats are going about this the right way which is to investigate and to lay out the case for impeachment before doing it. Many here wanted impeachment to be done along with everything else the Democrats did in the first 100 hours. If impeachment is worth doing, it is worth doing right, bringing most of the nation, including Republicans, along with the idea that impeachment of Bush and Cheney is righteous.
