2. interesting, that...
though techinically - Lieberman isn't a Democrat anymore - he ran and won on the "Connecticut for Lieberman" party - so what should we call him... a "Liebermanite"?

6. Why should CBS have Lieberman on anyway? Whose views does he clearly
represent besides a majority of Repugs, a fraction of Democrats and the Israel Lobby?

CBS should also put Sanders on.

4. Hagel is the last decent GOPer out there.....
I think this guy's stance on Iraq is more even more liberal than some characters in our own party.

5. As I said, Hagel is a possible '08 contender to watch out for.
He has a pretty conservative voting record, however he has spoken out about Iraq and other matters just enough so that he wouldn't be marginalized by a nationwide wave of changing sentiments.

Plus he and his campaign managers have owned ES&S at one point or another. He's got his hand in the E-voting cookie jar.

I see him as McCain without the age/health baggage and the blatant Bush ass-kissing.

7. I agree
and personally, I could stomach him as president a bit more than any of them, with McCain a distant 2nd.
