Just for fun: my predictions for every presidential election from now until the turn of the century:

OK, here's how 2008 unfolds: Hillary runs, and the battle is on for "anti-Hillary status." That falls between John Edwards and Barack Obama (or Wes Clark if Obama doesn't run). Hillary Clinton wins the nomination, selects Wes Clark, Barack Obama, or Bill Richardson as her running mate. Mitt Romney's superior organization and business/conservative appeal wins him the nod over the liberal Giuliani and the old, wobbly McCain.

2008
Clinton/Obama vs. Romney/Huckabee
Clinton wins

2012
Clinton/Obama vs. Sen. John Thune (SD)/Rep. Mike Pence (IN)
Cinton wins

2016
Obama runs and, as an inspiring progressive, is promptly assassinated.

Sen. Jim Webb (VA)/ Rep. Chelsea Clinton (AR) vs. Mike Pence (IN)/ Robot Barbara Bush (TX)
Webb wins

2020
Webb/Clinton vs. A half-eaten cheese sandwich (RI)/The ghost of Ronald Reagan (CA)
Sandwich wins, in a landslide.

2024
(The ghost of Reagan steps down, as it is ruled that he is technically disqualified from serving as Vice President, having already served two terms brain-dead.)
A half-eaten cheese sandwich/Bob Corker (TN) vs. Sen. Mike O'Malley (MD)/Sen. Al Franken (MN)
O'Malley wins

2028
I think you get the point.
Shit happens, my homeys. Remember when Allen was a frontrunner for the GOP nod? Remember when he was still a senator? It's fun to predict, but just remember everything you guess now will be laughably irrevelant after one week of American politics.
