5. "No impeachment" on the abuses we already know about. If new stuff

surfaces, all bets are off.

6. Since Americans' don't follow politics that closely.

They do not know how Repugs refused to let the minority in the House/Senate to participate in committees, nixed most Democratic requests to appear before committee hearings, held secret meetings w/o allowing Democrats participation, would not even give Democrats final copy of finished committee bills. And now the Democrats have to be nice/nice because the public is so poorly informed. Because the public is sick of partianship. Who has been the most partisan.
So now, the American public needs answers to questions about Weapons of Mass Destruction, Cheney's secret energy meetings with lobbysists, CIA intelligence gaffes, How Halliburton scammed the Iraq war effort, etc. We deserve these answers as normal congressional oversight, neglected by this Congress.
We need pressure committee chairs to give us some truth.
