Boston Globe, two other newspapers pick Patrick (MA Gov)
BOSTON --Democratic gubernatorial candidate Deval Patrick won endorsements from three Massachusetts newspapers Sunday, earning their support with his plans to boost the economy, reduce crime and improve education.

"Patrick brings an unusual set of experiences and values to the Massachusetts political landscape, and the state is better for it," according to The Boston Globe's editorial.

The Telegram & Gazette of Worcester and the MetroWest Daily News of Framingham also endorsed Patrick Sunday in advance of the Nov. 7 election.

The Daily News said Patrick's leadership, evident in his grass roots campaign, could change the culture at the statehouse.

1. at first I thought he was another Obama, a DLCer in liberal clothing
Now I'm not so sure after reading some of his campaign lit. He might actually be an FDR/LBJ type liberal. I suppose we'll see.
