The country's asking for some reality. I'm tired, your tired, we're
all so tired of spin, grandstanding and the overarching hype of the last six years. It's not rocket science. It's about good government, responsible representatives, a little bit of honesty. That's what I'm voting for this year. A step back to some semblance of normalcy. A step forward to restoring a national consensus that's truly national, not one concocted by Bushco's West Wing politico think tank or their K Street influence brokers.

When everything's positioned in an electoral context, when everyone's so intent on the next fundraiser or the next slam talking point, the actual job of governing gets relegated to a passing thought. It's not supposed to be this way, and it needn't be.

That's why I'm voting this year.

Yeah, we Democrats may never have the lock step regimentation of the Republican machine, but we're real. It's an enormous difference, in my opinion. And one worth supporting.

Let's get back to the business at hand.

3. As I'm sure the Freepers could explain to you

FDR was just a commie. And he just used that wheelchair to garner sympathy for commie causes, just like Michael J. Fox, an infilitrator from Soviet Canuckistan, where Al Qaeda holds chapter meetings in the House of Commons and everybody's a pot-smoking anarchist hell-bent on the destruction of our great Murkan values like blowing up abortion clinics and lynching people who had the nerve to be born non-white.

Sorry, I was just lurking at a couple of sites-that-shall-remain-nameless and must have brought back something on the sole of my shoe.

It's OK, I feel beter now.

ON EDIT: I did, however, discover a brand new way to spell "better". A "beter" way, so to speak.

4. can stupidity be hard wired?
watching bill oreilly on 'oprah' today.....if anyone hates the usa, and wants to see it destroyed, and has in fact helped destroy it, at unimaginable cost to its present and future citizens, it's bill oreilly, but oprah treated him like a champion wrestler, and the audience cheered his boring mantra 'them damn leftwing liberals... are at fault'....
the american people will not look hard at 'oprah' and see their own enslavement to being controlled by men who hate and fear them. perhaps it's too much to expect a population to recognise that the 'media' ie 'oprah' is an opiate, a drug as addictive and destructive as crack cocaine although it's been known for generation to be exactly that (see 'network')...even as individuals, when one draws back, clears your head, then looks at the world through medium of tv, one is immediately inside it, drawn back in again! go to a desert isle and again look at the world through the media and again, one's right back inside it. 'oprah' is bad cuz it drugs its users...to be 'good' all media would have to be against the very thing that now controls it, and us :(...which almost anyone who sentient already knows!
you take candy from a baby when its sleeping.....no ruckus that way

5. I'm tired of "visions".
The next person that says something about a politician's "vision" or lack of "vision" is probably going to get something thrown at them.
