Fla. Dems Attack Election Day Notices (Foley)
http://www.lasvegassun.com/sunbin/stories/bw-elect/2006/oct/13/101306788.html

Florida Democrats asked a state court Friday to block Election Day notices at polling places that would inform voters in Rep. Mark Foley's district that his GOP replacement on the ballot will receive his votes.

Foley had been a shoo-in for re-election before he resigned from Congress on Sept. 29 after being confronted with sexually explicit instant messages he wrote to male Congressional pages.

Foley's name is still on the ballot, though, and election supervisors want voters to know that votes for Foley will be given to state Rep. Joe Negron instead.

Democrats say that would be electioneering, which is illegal under state law.

1. This was reported here in South Florida days ago...
I think it's pretty much a dead issue. There will be no such notices come election day

3. Many Of Us Floridians Are Voting Absentee.... I Know My Family Is
but still, I'm sure many will vote on "the machines!" And I must add, even voting Absentee I don't feel all that comfortable either! I've heard many many rumors that the ballots don't get counted, but it could just be rumors. I'm such a cynic anymore I don't TRUST any voting here in Florida!!!

But we ARE going to get to vote for a paper trail here in Sarasota County, just hope it passes. Our local Supervisor of Elections is another Cruella, who just happens to be the current Congressional Representative here! I CAN'T WAIT to be RID OF HER AND JEBBY!!!!!

And yes, I'm sure they will still "lurk" around behind the scenes and could INFLICT major damage as long as they are around! Jebby IS NOT going to run for President so all you have to do is use your IMAGINATION as to what corruptness he'll be up to!!! I suspect he'll probably dump his wife within a couple of years though. Can't have THAT albatross around his neck and expect to run as President EVER!
