Please help me find a news article.

Can anyone tell me where that news article is from about a month back, stating that the Republican Party was planning to dig up a much dirt as possible on Democratic candidates in preparation for the upcoming election? There was a thread here about a week ago that referred to it.

I needed that link to respond to accusations on another discussion board that Democrats deliberately timed the Mark Foley scandal to influence the election. I know it's not true, but this link will rub it in with a compelling "even if it was true..." angle. Maybe I should call my post something like, "Payback's a Bitch". :)

(DU is a great place to gather material, but I think the real action is on balanced message boards where the real debating takes place.)

4. I did a search on "dirt" and it didn't take long to locate it - first

time I used the Search function. Works pretty good, obviously!

2. Yowza! Found it!

I just discovered something in the process (so, btw, thank you!) - if you are interested in something and want to save it, bookmark it - click the "bookmark this thread" selection at the upper left of the screen. Then it's there in a separate listing among your bookmarks, and you only have to wade through a few of your saved faves instead of trying to work back into the archives. Just learned that, now.
