6. Well, that's it. Schwartzenegger wins.
I don't believe Kerry's support will help any Democrats. He is tarnished as both a candidate and a Democrat. I'd really like to believe otherwise, but Kerry is a disappointment every time he opens his mouth. (Especially every time he says he really supports a cause.)

Now, if Al Gore had come out and spoken, I'd have a little more hope...Gore still is reluctant to run, but he is a man of principles and ideas. Maybe not enough principles and ideas to get him to the White House, but certainly enough to help a candidate.

I'll listen, but in the background I expect to hear the sounds of nails being hammered into Angelides's coffin.

7. I don't believe
you're any help at all. Kerry has been campaigning around the country raising more money for candidates than anyone. I don't see Al Gore doing that.

Thank you for sharing.

9. Kerry has been campaigning across the country for winning Democrats

Massachusetts Sen. John Kerry (D) is traveling to Iowa on Sunday and will do several events around the state. In Des Moines, Kerry will raise money for Women for a Stronger America -- a group that has grown out of the 2004 "Women for Kerry" organization. He will then travel to Cedar Rapids for a fundraiser for Justin Shields, a candidate for the Cedar Rapids City Council. And, as the Iowa Press Citizen reported earlier today, Kerry will end his day with a stop in Iowa City for a "grassroots organizational meeting."[/div>

12. Kerry is neither tarnished or a disappointment every time he opens
his mouth. Unless you choose to be lumped with those who believe the SBVT why would you say he is tarnished. Kerry is one of the best, most articulate people we have. I seriously doubt that there is any politician who has given 2 speeches this year that could compete with Kerry's April 22, 2006 speech on dissent or the September 9, 2006 speech on national securiy.

I think Gore is great and have I have no intention of taking the bait here. He and Kerry are both American patriots and both should be respected here, even if you prefer someone else. It is not a lack of principles or ideas that kept either Kerry or Gore out of the White House - they had plenty of both.

13. I don't think the people he's campaigning for feel the same.
Everything I've seen from his trip to Iowa this weekend has been extremely positive and very well received.

Kerry has raised $10 million for Democratic candidates running this year and has an e-mail list with 3 million names, believed to be the largest among Democrats.

"It's tremendous, the excitement he generates for me," Loebsack said of Kerry. "I'm so thankful that he came in for me."

14. so call on Gore to do whatever the fuck you want him to
i see no reason to attack Democrats who are out there supporting other Democrats . and he certainly does get a positive response as he brings in a lot of money when he attends fundraisers.

15. Gore is a politician. You don't TELL him what to do.
He tells you what he's going to do, you vote for him, then you see if he actually does it. If he doesn't, you wait four or six years, then you vote him out.

Do you really believe politicans listen to what you say? You listen to what HE says and watch what HE does. And I've seen what Kerry says and what he doesn't do.

16. i have personally seen Kerry do what i and others told him to do
with personal acknowledgement of the people doing it.

and that has nothing to do with this anyways. you brought up Gore in the first place. i don't get people who complain about other Dems helping the party just because they might not like them. just ignore it.

8. Personally I do NOT believe that John Kerry deserves such ill
treatment. He has been faithfully one of the most progressive members of the Congress for a lifetime. He was cheated out of the presidency by the crooks-in-power...the burden is ours for 2000 and 2004. We should have demanded more by taking to the streets.
