1. K&R
Good idea. RFK or maybe Michael Moore or Brad Blog. The only difficulty is that it probably couldn't be produced and distributed before the November election.

4. I like Moore, but he's become such an issue himself
it might be more problem than help at this point.

And while it couldn't be done (or could it?) for Nov 2006 -- it would sure be a help in 2008!

3. Every other issue NEEDS election fraud to be exposed before they even have
a chance of being addressed.

5. Yes, it seems we have to go back to World War II days
and use the movies to get the news out. I believe such a movie would do quiet well in our democracy challenged environment.

I'm writing, first, to thank you with all my heart and soul for your tireless attention to issues of major importance to our society that tend to go undiscussed. Your study and input on everything from the Indian River plant, mercury and autism, environmentalism, global warming and perhaps most important of all: election fraud, is extremly valuable and appreciated. You are a shining star in the shining Kennedy tradition

But the main reason I write is to ask you to consider the success of Al Gore's film, "An Inconvenient Truth". I and many others firmly believe the success of that film illustrates a ready audience for truth, and that the time has come for such a film regarding all the vast and alarming information the people have yet to see regarding the 2004 election.

Because of corporate owned media, this may be the only way to present the truth and facts about the stolen 2004 election and the problems with Diebold and other computers used for our votes. People don't really understand and need to see that it's not just the voting mahcines -- it's the machines that TALLY the votes that hold a major danger. That and the numerous other methods used to discourage, delay and withhold voting from American citizens needs to be explained as grahpically as possible to the country. And you're the man to do it.

Won't you please consider using your Rolling Stone article as a basis for creating the same sort of multi-media presentation on film that can educate our fellow citizens about what happened in 2004 and why they need to understand it before 2008?

Thank you for your time and for continuing to do such important work for our country.

Sincerely,
(me)

Your email has been sent.
Thank you.

11. But he means a film made for the mainstream.
i.e. a bigger production. These films are wonderful, but will not get to theaters around the country.

15. these are made for the mainstream. we just need more people
to watch them and spread the word.

the point is well taken that Gore's film is getting a lot of attention, but that's mainly because it's Al Gore. There aren't that many people who draw an audience like him.

I think the Votergate movie will get quite a bit of attention when it comes out. We should all help to make sure a lot of people get to see it.

16. count me in. I think it is the one issue we should all be rallying behind.
The rest can not come to pass until we have honest elections.

9. I agree loudly, but I would leave Kennedy alone. He is pretty busy
with lawsuits and getting the message out. How about a big hollywood film amker. After all, that is what they do. Oliver Stone?

Edited on Wed Jun-21-06 02:44 PM by cyberpj
not only our support for him taking on this issue, but also motivate him to use those contacts to get something started. Someone like Stone doesn't already have the research and belief in his own head.

He's not as compelling as Gore, imo.

14. I understand your thought. But he has "the name". Maybe a joint venture
with someone more entertaining - RFK,Jr. AND so-and-so present.......

I'd also avoid standard Hollywood types - too easy for people to dismiss.

Maybe Robert gets UNCLE TEDDY?

17. How about Greg Palast?
Morgan Spurlock would be good as well, although I don't know if he would be up to it. Errol Morris would be great, but he is also probably a long shot.

Greg Palast would definately be up for it, I don't know if he has the name recognition to get wide distribution but he would put out a good film I am sure.
