My brilliant suggestion.

1. Yes.
Their reason being that you can't vote on something that's a LIE.

2. No vote = no record to be attacked.
Yet is still makes the statement that we don't support this mockery of democracy

3. That is exactly what I was thinking as I just heard a 'news' piece...
on the upcoming vote and how they expect it to "hurt" the Dems politically. Abstain and say WHY!

5. I was thinking the same thing
The dems really must stop being led around by the nose
by these idjits and get creative, get mad, go on the offensive

I read some quotes from Lee Iaccoca, and he is spitting nails at all of them

I'll see if I can find it.

4. Great idea, but since when do the Dems "all" do anything together?
I know Democrats are the party of critical analysis and individuality, but without a clear leader and ten nuanced opinions on Iraq, Dems are hurting.

6. No. Vote No.
Voting "Present" or abstaining opens Dems to the charge that when the battle was being fought against global terrorism ... the Democrats didn't even show up for the fight.

Voting "Present" or abstaining just plays right into the hands of Rove who wants to portray the Dems as weak and indecisive.

The best course is for the Dems in the House to all vote NO! Then proceed to the capitol steps and rip Bush and the radical Republicans apart for their war lies and politicizing the deaths of 2500 U.S. troops and a hundred thousand Iraqis.

If they do that, they will turn this around and look like the kind of leaders we can all trust in a dangerous world -- they become the "Fighin' Democrats!"

So, what do you think the odds are that that will happen?
