...that he'd been "martyred." Of course Al Quaeda would have an incentive to convince the US that he was dead, but I rather doubt that both groups would conspire to put out that message. Of course we could just be wrong.

5. I'm just confused by this - if we blew the place to smithereens,

how come we have his intact corpse to show off in photos on TV? Or maybe his head or upper body survived intact and the rest of him was blown to bits?
