1. yes, great sign.
I just hope we don't blow it by picking a lackluster, uninspiring candidate.

3. You are so diplomatic.
I'm not. We can do better than Kerry.

4. Where did you get this info? I looked on CNN at the total numbers of
registered voters, the total number of Democrats/available voters, and the total number of votes. Seems to me a lot of the states had about 10% or at most 33% turnout. Is this good for primaries? The state of voter turnout is sadder than I thought...or to be an optimist, we can do a lot of improving, and I guess I can start with my own state right now (PA). Will be knocking on doors this weekend to get my candidate on the ballot and bringing voter registrations forms with me.

5. I got it from the moronic "pundits" on CNN/Larry King Deb. Verbal.
They said AZ (or NM?) had three time the turnout of 2000.

6. The key is KEEPING these people involved
It's one thing to come out and vote in the primary. We have to get these people to the polls in November, regardless of whether their candidate is nominated or not.

7. Agreed.
Anything that is motivating enough to get people off their recliners and out to the voting booths is a good thing.

8. Then maybe this incredibly thight race is good in that sense.
It's suspenseful.
Four people are competative.
All are impressive in their own ways.

The BFEE has to split their attacks.

I hope it stays competative...
