I missed Al Gore this morning on Today because I didn't realize he was going to be on. (ARRGHH!) I won't be missing any more if I can help it! The worst part is if I had checked my email last night before going to bed I would have known, and could have watched it; I'm on an email list with algore.org and I had an email alerting me to his schedule. It's in connection with the release of the book "An Inconvenient Truth." I thought I'd post his schedule info for those DU'ers who might be interested.

May 24 - Wed: NBC Nightly News interview with Tom Brokaw
May 25 - Thu: Town Hall in New York City
May 30 - Tue: NPR/Fresh Air with Terry Gross
May 31 - Wed: CBS The Early Show with Harry Smith
Jun 08 - Thu: The Tonight Show with Jay Leno
Jun 19 - Mon: The View
Jun 23 - Fri: The Late Show with David Letterman

It adds that, "Mr. Gore will make at least a dozen more major national appearances to promote the book. He is slated for book-signings in New York, Los Angeles, Washington DC, Nashville, Houston, Vancouver and other major cities."

There may be other appearances scheduled that I don't have listed. If it's not listed I don't know about it, so please post them on this thread! If and/or when I learn of other or newly scheduled appearances or interviews I will do the same.

Experience, vision, a multi-tasking-detail-oriented-hands-on man who can think. A man who cares about policy, and diplomacy, and ALL Americans, the world, the planet, not just the top 2% corporate parasites.
A man who can extemporaneously discuss a variety of subjects using coherent sentences with meaning and clarity. Who would have ever thought that would be an attribute we'd need to specify in the job description?
