1. I rather doubt the founders ever realized that the President
would become Chief Executive Legislator.

7. Agreed! Bush apparently would rather use the Constitution as toilet paper
Edited on Sun Mar-12-06 06:56 AM by WePurrsevere
that fulfill the OATH he SWORE on a Bible to "preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States." Of course it also says "to the best of my ability" and we all know about Bush's "ability" to actually ACT and DO anything truly in this nations best interests.

edited to add dropped letters

3. That's dreadful.
Please edit your subject line to change Bust to Bush. It's misleading.

I wonder if anyone will be able to undo all the harm Bush is doing this country.

4. I won't give to a religious charity anymore
They are taking their bite out of my taxes. The Salvation Army was shocked when I refused them $ for the first time in years.

6. NOT BUSH, NOT CHERTOFF, NOT POPPY NOT ANY DAMN BUSH IS GOING TO PUSH
Edited on Sun Mar-12-06 05:58 AM by flordehinojos
RELIGION DOWN THE THROATS OF ANYONE WHO DOES NOT WANT RELIGION. NOT AT HOMELAND INSECURITY OR ANYWHERE ELSE IN THIS LAND, OR EVEN ON THIS PLANET, WILL THEY FORCE PEOPLE TO ACCEPT ANY RELIGION THAT THEY DON'T WANT TO ACCEPT. THEY START PUSHING RELIGION ON PEOPLE AND RELIGION STOPS BEING RELIGION. IT BECOMES THE BUSHIT TOTALITARIAN BULLSHIT rules for the BUSHIT GOVERNED PEOPLE.

though,IS IT POSSIBLE THAT THOSE DAMN BUSH BOYS WANTED TO BE MINISTERS, OR PRIESTS RATHER THAN WARMONGERS AND POWER GRABBERS? THEIR GREAT GRANDFATHER-POPPY GEORGE HERBERT WALKER HAD BEEN SENT TO ENGLAND TO A SEMINARY THERE TO STUDY FOR THE PRIESTHOOD. HE LEFT THE SEMINARY, MOCKED RELIGION FOR THE REST OF HIS LIFE AND MARRIED AN EPISCOPALIAN (THAT IS HOW COME POPPY BUSH IS AN EPISCOPALIAN WHO PROBABLY MOCKED RELIGION, PRAISED HITLER AND AMMUNITIONS ALL OF HIS LIFE AND TAUGHT HIS BUSHIT BOYS TO DO THE SAME...but, is it possible the bushit boys wanted to be ministers or priests of any sort......there is too much pushing of false religion down everybody's throat!!!!!!SEND THEM TO MARS. LET THEM CONVERT PEOPLE THERE)!

maybe not ... those bushit boys love power too much, they don't have a clue about respect (or love) for another human being--and i doubt they even love, or respect, or obey God and His Commandments.

Damn Bastard Bushit Boys!

11. I have hoped same, but faith-based programs are "Judeo-Xtian"
Ester Kaplan, in her book "With God on Their Side" describes how the Bush "Faith-Based Programs" have a very harsh implicit bias toward only "Judeo-Xtian" faiths. They have (so far successfully) excluded other religions, even Islamic (which is, ultimately a Judeo-xtian faith) from their government cash handouts.

12. Lawsuits? Challenges?
Do you know if there have been any? Because, geez, that's a pretty blatant flouting of the establishment clause. Or it sure seems so to me.

10. Buschco's mantra .. "emasculate, manipulate, eviscerate"
Their use of religion has as much to do with spirituality as rape has to do with sensuality.

Bush's personal mantra ... "mommy, condi, cheney, whiskey, MOMMYYYYYY"
