Poll question: Now as a poll: Show of hands for current Democrat office holders
I'm curious to know whether or not the posts made to these forums actually get to the ears of any Democrats in power, or if we are nothing more than an echo chamber.

Please respond for yourself. I appreciate the need of some people to keep their involvement in DU "under wraps", but it would be a big service to the group if you could also post and give your real name and the position you hold. Please note different categories for partisan and non-partisan offices.

2. In order to make this work, you should first poll for
multinational CEOs & fundie preachers. Then the Dems will show up.

If I sound bitter and cynical, it's only because I am.

Democrat Party is Repub-speak.

Don't let them define us.

5. I'll second that...it's the Democratic Party
The GOP uses the term "Democrat Party". Don't let them corrupt your thought.

Thanks.

6. possibly not enough space in the title?
i don't think the OP meant anything by it, and i know in the old thread people tried to rip him/her a new one.

i am considering registering as an election judge here in my area. Ds of course. but i don't think that counts? and B&R will be a staffer for our D congresscritter, Lane Evans, coming up after graduation, assuming nothing falls through.

17. I don't see the big deal...
Who cares if were are called Democrat or Democratic, our knee-jerk reactions to the name difference makes them do it more. Whoopidedoo. I'm a Democrat, I belong to the Democrat Party or the Democratic Party, either way just don't confuse me with someone who belongs to the republic party...snicker.....

7. Central Committee member, Precinct Chair and Delegate to the County
Convention (and District Central Committee member). That probably doesn't count. However, I'm married to a former member of Congress...do I score through osmosis?

16. Whew...but we do have to run for the delegate and central committee spots
There are more people who want to serve then there are spots - so it is an election (but I get your drift). :bounce: maybe someday...
