Is your Kerry sticker still on your car??
If not, why not?? It represents many things, especially scorn and dismay over the current "administration." It's just one more way for us to express ourselves.

PS - I'm in Ohio and sometimes I feel like everyone has removed their Kerry stickers except for me. I swear there were many more of them before the stolen Diebold election.

So, what's the scoop on this in your state and town?

I still have my "Kerry/Edwards because two minds are better than none" and also my Voltaire quote - "Those that can make you believe absurdities, can make you commit atrocities." Both still get great reactions! I passed my boss one morning and realized she had a Kerry/Edwards sticker on it. I commented on it when I saw her later in the morning. She hadn't realized it was me that went around her but she and her husband really liked that Voltaire quote. Needless to say...we get on well together.

fight & expose the election fraud in Ohio, day after day, month after month...When overwhelming evidence of electronic voting fraud & discrepancies were evident and obvious to everyone who looked and cared...

I took my Kerry bumper sticker off the day after the election... because Kerry used all the extra millions left over from citizens donations to fight the Ohio fraud and Kerry made statements each and every day about such fraud and what should be done about it, never leaving the country on vacation, he just kept fighting like he said he would.

I don't think people understand that a former prosecutor isn't going to go off half-cocked about such a serious charge without evidence, even though he likely agrees with us that it happened.

120. I lost my Kerry/Edwards sticker when I traded my car in this past
September. I hated the car but LOVED that bumper sticker. I even went so far as tried to remove it but it was a no go. My only hope now is that the sticker is still on a car somewhere where someone can appreciate it.

The only sticker I have now is my DU sticker with mixed results. Several times when I am gassing up I have had someone walk up and ask about my sticker or give me a thumbs up. Between my bumper sticker and DU sweatshirt I have gotten many more thumbs ups and positive comments than negative. That is all the more encouraging because I'm right here in the middle of a red state.

The only negative - I was stopped at a stoplight at a major intersection in my hometown. The dude in the next lane motioned for me to roll my windown down. He asked what democraticunderground.com was and I told him a progressive/liberal web site for Democratics. He then said that I must be in favor of killing babies. My jaw dropped when he added that he PERSONALLY was responsible for TV ads that showed aborted fetuses. I told him that no, I, nor anyone else, was in favor of dead babies but we were actively against morons and religious nuts telling us how to live our lives. That he just proves an idiot with money can be very dangerous to society. He was saying something but I rolled my window up but I didn't catch it. Gave him the bird and drove on when the light changed.

I love that the people who like the DU message approached me personally to agree while the "morans" who don't agree always try to use hit and run techniques. Chickenshit chickenhawks every single one of them.

It's on because it makes me happy to see on other people's cars - so I assume that likeminded people will feel the same when they see mine. There were more stickers on before the election. There are VERY VERY few Bush/Cheney stickers left on. I actually see more Kerry stickers.

Also, I have a REALLY REALLY good reason to keep them on. In September when Kerry came to a nearby town, some one yelled "We still have your sticker on our car". Kerry grinned, thanked the person and said something like keep them on. So, if the greatly esteemed Senator from Massachusetts was happy that people still had the stickers on, I'm keeping them on and hope to add a Kerry 08 sticker to keep it company in the future.

I took the Kerry/Edwards sticker off about a month after the "election"

I currently sport a peace sign, a yin-yang, a Democratic Underground .com, and a John Lennon ("You may say I'm a dreamer, but I'm not the only one") as well as an F the President and a Human Rights Campaign equality sticker.

I figured Kerry/Edwards was a dead issue once the election was conceeded, but I left my sticker intact until I had suitable replacements at the ready.

when my husband finally got around to washing our car. He removed our faded Kerry/Edwards sticker and put on a DU sticker in its place.

Even if he hadn't washed the car and removed it, we knew we'd be needing to remove our Kerry sticker soon anyway; we need room for our Napolitano, Pederson, and whoever-finally-decides-to-run-against-Renzi stickers.

39. Yes, and a funny remark at the golf course last week
I got paired with a rightwing couple. The guy was maybe 65 and made some outlandish comments during the round. Normally I respond with full throttle specifics, but that day I just let them slide and focused on my golf.

Then in the parking lot the couple was aproaching their car when I was loading my clubs. I nodded to them and was very aware they noticed my Kerry sticker. I have excellent hearing and within a few seconds I heard her say, "if I had known THAT, I NEVER would have agreed to play with him." At that point I laughed out loud, high decibel and prolonged. They turned back toward me and realized I heard what they said. I saluted them while continuing to laugh. On Monday they intentionally avoided me in the course restaurant.

are still on my truck.

I yanked the Kerry sticker offa the truck when he caved. I had my 'other guy' stickers to let the world know I was a Dem (The DU sticker **might** also have been a clue :) ).

I decided to leave the Kerry sticker on the car because of what it says to anyone who sees it.

Funny thing ... 'round here in Maryland, 'twixt Baltimore and DC, there are still a shitload of Kerry stickers and damned few of any flavor of dumbya stckers. Another funny thing is that most dumbya stickers are on cars that in any civilized part of the world would not be allowed on the road .... beaters one and all.

76. I'm more impressed with Rod Smith, but the politicos are all
backing Davis, so it seems like a done deal. I met them both at the state convention where I hadn't as yet formed an opinion. I heard the speeches, watched the promos, talked to the reps. Rod brought the house down, and really impressed me one on one. But Davis seemed liked a good guy too.

80. Davis is a good guy
He isn't as firey as Smith, for sure. But, Davis polls well against republican challengers (it will be hard for either to be Crist, unfortunately, but I think Davis will do better if Crist wins the primary) and he'd be an excellent governor.

I have

a DU sticker
"Proud to Live in a Blue State" (though it's kinda purple)
and last but not least, the first of its kind to be seen by the freepers I work with

A "Support Kerry 08" sticker.

It was getting pretty tatty looking. Same with the Mission Nothing Accomplished sticker from MoveOn PAC.

I tried to get it to stick back on, because it looked perfectly capable, but after a week it just gave up the ghost.

I stuck it to a box in the garage, but it peeled off there too. Plenty of others did not suffer this fate, here in very red Ventura County.

However "Had enough? Vote Democratic" is going strong.

The "W04" stickers were practically as numerous as vehicle registration stickers....back in 2004. They are noticably LESS numerous now.

The Kerry/Edwards stickers are still out there. I see one just about every day.

Like in other parts of the country, there's a certain amount of bumper sticker "I told you so" happenin'.

90. On westside of Los Angeles in Feb. '06
I would say the ratio is 100-1 Kerry to 'W' stickers (anecdotal, based on drive time on westside.

I don't have a Kerry sticker, as my rear bumper is plastered full with anti-war\peace stickers. Car has been vandalized twice (street parking), once when radio antenna was bent over at right angle, second when tires were flattened (in Malibu).

I've heard horror stories of people's windows getting smashed and cars 'keyed', but mostly for anti-war stickers, not for Kerry stickers.

91. I was in OH, but I moved
to SD last summer. What I've found here is that people will have stickers for senatorial and local candidates, as well as stickers for the lone congressional rep, far more than they will for national candidates/elections. It was the opposite in OH. Although there are, indeed, cars driving around here with Bush or Kerry stickers on.

There also are a lot of both "Thank you, Tom, for 26 years of great service" and "Dump Daschle" stickers, even 15 months after the election. There are still a lot of heated, charged emotions on both sides of that, and it appears to be about evenly divided.

What I've also found that has really surprised me is that people here, and statewide, seem to be far more politically aware and involved, on both sides, than they are in OH and many other states. That was a real surprise, although a pleasant one, since most people actually know what the hell they're talking about when they talk politics, and people are very knowledgeable of, and involved with, many statewide issues, again on both sides.

99. Clint Curtis running for Congress
I'm the vote fraud whistleblower that testified before Congress on Congressman Tom Feeney's request for vote flipping software. We have made great strides in the last year but still have not been able to achieve verified voting across this country. We have also been unable to receive the attention of the main stream press on the issue of election integrity.

It is time to kick it up a notch.

I will be running against the very person that requested the vote fraud prototype. As part of the campaign, I will be challenging Mr. Feeney to take a polygraph test (I already passed mine) on the issues of vote fraud, Iraq War, Corruption and many other interesting issues.

We all know that if the votes are flipped, we can not win. It does not matter if we have the best campaign, the most money, or the most voters. We can not win if the game is fixed. Within the month, I will have a short term solution to the lack of verification of our system. Never again will the elections be able to be fixed without our knowledge. Never again will we be unorganized in our efforts to challenge any attempt to pre-determine our leaders. This system will be in place regardless of my run for congress against Mr. Feeney.

I would, however appreciate any help you can offer in taking on Mr. Feeney on his home turf.

We will need $300,000.00 and 300 volunteers by the end of March 2006 to be able to make this a race.

Any donation whether $3 or $300 will help us bring the vote fraud issue to national attention and challenge Mr. Feeney where he lives.

I we do not get enough participation and are forced to withdraw all remaining contributions will be returned.

Thank you all again for your support.

Clint

Anyone have any 'spare' Kerry bumper stickers arouond Icould scrounge up?

Regarding others in my CA area at least, I'd say at least one-third or one-fourth of fhe cars still have Kerry stikers on. As much as a lot of nay-sayer's would like us to believe he wasn't "popular" or "charaslmastic" enough, he inspired hope...and that hope lives onn even yet...EVEN MORE with each additional Shrubco crime/misdemeanor that is exposed.

The Kucinich sticker is still on the vehicle I was driving in the spring of '04. My son drives it now. I never had a Kerry sticker, and I didn't put any stickers on the new one.

In the parking lot at work, there is one car that bears a Kerry sticker, and one that bears some "support the troops" ribbons and a "these colors don't run" sticker. I don't know how different that is from '04, since I didn't work there then. I see Bush/Cheney '04 stickers every once in a while, Kerry stickers rarely when I'm driving around town.

As much as I support Kerry - this sticker is for him, for my democratic Gov, for the
dem that is running against Kyl, for the dems in ALL elections.

129. I tape my stickers to the inside of my car so o one will rip them off.
But I live in a very, very Blue area of Los Angeles, so not mcu of a concern about that happening.

134. I have the No W (circle/slash) and "One Planet Indivisible" stickers
But, this being Portland, I see a buttload of Kerry stickers every day ... even some lingering Kerry yard signs.

135. Yes, and I still see a lot of them
here in Connecticut. I also have my "Defend America, Defeat Bush" sticker. I REALLY need a "He's not MY president" sticker, as that is essentially my message.

in the garage so anyone can see it when they come to the door.

141. My husband took it off my car.
I felt violated. He said, "The election's over." The audacity!

I am enjoying seeing the Bush/Cheney stickers coming off the cars now. There aren't nearly as many as there were a few months ago.

142. Kerry sticker
I had a bumper sticker on my truck that read "Dean voter on loan to the Kerry campaign" until the CA sun made it illegible. Now I have one that says "Republicans for Voldemort". It makes some people smile and confuses the hell out of the illiterate wingnuts.

It made my day. The owner obviously signaled his change of heart.

147. Still have mine
plastered on the rear of my ZX2. It'll most likely be on there when I trade it in in a couple months. Then I have to figure out what to put on the new car. :)

148. I took it off the day after the election

I don't like bumper stickers myself and once the election was over I removed it. I would have done the same had Kerry won.

151. No, I replaced it when he caved
First with a "Bush Cheated" sticker, and then with "Support our Troops - Impeach Our President". That one is still on my car, right next to my liberal values flag sticker (from http://www.stampandshout.com).

There are fewer and fewer "W" stickers driving around here every week.
