Global Catastrophe

I believe we will see a catastrophe if this is true.

If the Bird Flu is as much as a threat that people say it is, AND if it is entering a War Zone (IRAQ). It can get really, really ugly very fast.

Be prepared people.

and turning up in Iraq will not cause it to mutate.

Very, very small from what I've read.

This whole thing reminds me of the Small Pox scare, and the anthrax scare, and the SARS scare....

4. Actually, it might

Lots of mutagens lying around there these days ... depleted uranium and the like. It is still a roll of the dice ... the toxic environment of a modern battlefield just means the dice are being rolled more frequently.

and we've been bombarding Iraq for over a decade.

Even with the Tsunami we didn't have any major out breaks.

Lot's of things 'might' happen. Call me when it does.

I will definitely do that in the (still) unlikely event that it happens. Just understand that the byproducts of modern warfare are generally unhealthy ... accelerated mutation rates being just one of the effects you will observe if you look closely.
