Troop Withdrawel aka The Victory Moonwalk
With congressional elections coming up you know it's time for the Bushies to declare victory and start protecting their own political asses.
Which if it gets the soldiers home is all well and good with me, but you know the more they admit their folly through policy (that is the more soldiers they bring home) the more they are going to proclaim absolute and total victory.

1. If tens of thousands more, perhaps hundreds of thousands more
Iraqis and middle easterners would now rather die than see some American interest, hotel/barracks/city/ships left unfettered.... yes, these brainless morons can claim absolute and total failure.

2. Notice last time withdrawl was mentioned was Friday before Thanksgiving?
Makes you wonder whether the topic is being used as a propoganda tool before politicians return home for the holiday weekends? Or to drive family dinner conversations and give the Repug family members something to point at as their lib family members are calling them idiots for still supporting the shrub.

Nahhhh....

3. Bogus
I think this is bogus. The Bush Administration purposely increased the number of soldiers in Iraq so they could reduce the number after the election. They could then say they were successful in reducing the soldiers even though they only reduce the number to that which was their before the election. Also, the news reported that the net reduction would only be 3,000 soldiers.

4. Exactly!
They always increased the number of troops before the elections then end pulling some troops back.
