the surveillance by the * regime is illegal (MSNBC just now)! This could prove to be quite a showdown!

4. the interesting thing about jonathan turley is that, if i remember
correctly, he thought clinton ought to have been impeached.

turley has surprised me with some of his poit of views re: the law and the bush government. this time around, i have to say, he doesn't let the bush people buy him off. this time around turley seems to be a straight shooter.

8. Turley knows that impeachment is a political act...
Ultimately such a defense of democracy is not a matter for special prosecutors or courts but Congress itself..

And frankly if Congress isn't gonna impeach (and it's not) then Pat's right, Bush can get away with anything he wants, if he pushes it that far. He just had not been seen to do so before now.
