I don't want to run against Hillary. I simply don't. I fear Clinton because the man knew how to appeal to the center and to the left. Hillary wouldn't be much different.

And there's Hillary, squeaking a few conservative viewpoints: video game violence, flag burning, and the like. Now the liberals hate her. Good.

I'm going to keep mentioning this little "conservative streak" of hers until it sets in with the liberal end of the Democratic Party. While I do that, I will throw my support behind the most beatable candidate in the party - money and all - while the Democrats take down the one I fear the most.

Then I win in 2008. And I won't have to lift a finger.

Move over, Karl Rove, I'm BRILLIANT!

6. Rove isn't brilliant. Brilliant people don't do time...and that's coming.

You forget the element of time.

Look at Iraq right now. It will get much worse. In fact, by 2006, it will ba apparent that a) we're leaving and b) Iran will be moving in, through influence orin actuality. Can you even begin to imagine how angry and betrayed the American people will feel. The rage will be palpable.

The issue will not be "who lost Iraq." Nobody will care.

The issue will be who was stupid and venal enough to support this lunacy in the first place.

You just mentioned the name of one of them.

But look at it this way, unlike Rove, you'll be free;)

i would keep telling everybody that would listen that we (repugs) can't beat hillary. I'd do it so often and so loudly that i finally convince enough dems that it is true.

then when hillary runs, we (repugs) win again.

8. If the GOP really wants to win over any candidate, they'll nominate McCain
For some reason, the Bush people try to paint him as a liberal, which he is not. I like McCain as a person, and would consider him an improvement over Bush, but would still prefer Hillary, Clark or any other moderate dem over McCain.

I just know a lot of swing voters who love McCain. They're people who voted for Clinton and Gore, but also voted for Reagan. Some voted for Kerry, some didn't.
