The rise to power of the following:

Grand Ayatollah Ali Sistani

Muqtada al-Sadr's Army:

Badr Brigade

These are the 'security forces' we are 'training'.:puke:
We train these guys and they, in turn, go after, and kill and torture Sunnis, in this downward spiral, as they enter Civil War.

Why are our kids dying again?

1. Just like we armed/trained jihadists in the 80's.
If we don't get some "enemies" up to speed, we can't have endless war, and that would make the Carlysle Group very sad!:-(

3. Even worse, I think the
"sides" are quite fluid. (Wasn't that a nice, folksy picture of Thief Rumsfeld vigorously shaking Saddam's hand?) I think the objective is to keep war going--so someone can get richer and richer selling war apparatus to governments.
