Bush " As long as I am your commander in chief..." we will keep fighting t
the Iraqi war - or something along those lines. The important part was "as long as I am the commander in chief' Wonder if he is hinting that he might not continue to be the CIC - maybe he is going to retire for health reasons and whoever is the CIC at that time will do whatever is necessary to stop the war.

I only saw that 15 second sound bite - have any of the talking heads said anything about it. "As long as I am CIC...." hmmmm?

1. He means until we take over the Congress in 06
and boot his and Cheney's ass in jail after an impeachment and trial in the Hague for crimes against humanity.

4. Thats a fact Rose.
You got it.

I think he should get tried in the 9th circuit (In San Franciso).

I bet we would bring back the death penalty - just for his henchmen.

"Iraq in the news and you lose."

Unfortunately, Iraq is going to be in the news.

On the other hand - 11 months and counting.

Bully for you Rose -

Joe

6. San Francisco may have to fight over him
with NYC... or the Hague may want a large piece of him too.

It will be hard deciding which prison will hold him... so many will be vying for the "honor".

I would never NEVER have believed any of this could happen 5 years ago. It's like a never-ending Tom Clancy novel.

12. It is like a nightmare -
I want it to be 2000 again. I want Bill Clinton back. I don't care if he gets a BJ on prime time. Who cares??

I don't think even Tom Clancy could write this drama. I have such a bad feeling about this.

I think that guy really does believe Revelations - literally.

I am scaring myself now.

We concentrate on the task. We can make it through 12 more months.

The only thing that keeps me going some days is the thought B*sh can't get a war resolution through congress any better than he did SS reform.

On the other hand - how does a "war time" president save his reputation??

Oh, Bring on 2006 RIGHT NOW!!!

Joe

Best to you

3. Well, we'll just have to DO something about that, now--come on '06!!!
Let's get him and Five Deferments Dick impeached in one fell swoop, and install Speaker Pelosi as interim president. She can then appoint John Conyers as her VP...we'll get all that first female, first of African descent stuff out of the way, and move forward towards a sane America and a safer world!

10. Wouldn't that be a dream come true. First woman and first African-Am all
at one time. This would be soooo good for our country.

5. He just likes reminding people he's still president.
In the same way, he likes giving speeches where he's getting salutes and Hail to the Chief. It gives him all the legitmacy that titles and staging can give a really shitty little man.

9. "Do what we say or else" has been the party line for what, 2000+ years?
Core issue detected.

13. Yeah, but the irony is, that little putz lives in OUR HOUSE!!
He's like a bad teenager telling, us, his parents what to do...think it might be time for a little 'tough love' on that little shit! How about MILITARY SCHOOL? Of the REFORM variety? He sure didn't get much out of his foray into military life the first time out, so maybe a little correctional custody is in order!!

14. I have a hunch
that if the 06 elections turn out real badly, that he will resign. He has a history of throwing a fit and then walking away when things don't go his way. I don't think he has the guts to stand up to the humiliation of a real congressional investigation, if he losses the house or the senate.

16. That statement may come back to haunt him...
makes the *I* word seem like a viable solution. Of course, we need help from his own party. '06 may turn out to be a good year.

17. I doubt that anything haunts the BFEE members
I have a strong sense that Georgie is biding his time flying non-stop and when things get a little to warm for the War Profiteers, Karen pulls out her poorly written script for Georgie to do sloppy seconds on before a hand-selected audience preferably men and women in uniform.

Georgie's cronies do the dirty deeds like War, abuse of seniors, children, military, controlling the media, cleaning out the US Treasury, etc., etc., etc., while Georgie plays the roll of Savior.

Once Georgie leaves office his roll is complete and he will return to the useless life he always lead.....before daddy forced him to play shadow/shallow/puppet POTUS. Georgie will have done what the War Profiteers wanted so he has no need for a place in history. After all it was he who said, when asked about his place in history, "who cares, I'll be dead."
