I know the people in this country are not this stupid...
When 911 happened I watched and waited to see bush's response. He went to the site of the tragedy and did his fake photo-ops and and that damn patting people on their backs, and acting like he was in charge. I watched and thought to myself ,how can we have homeland security with the borders open and people are coming in here everyday.

Then I watch bush do a fake speech and look at the people acting like he is God and I wonder are these people really that stupid or he must be paying them off, like they say follow the money. So the 2004 election comes and I say, I know by now, they have to see that Cheney is really the pres and bush is a puppet or parrot who keeps spouting " stay the course" or we're fighting or over there so we don't have to fight them over here.

So I come to the conclusion that they are that stupid or its about the money.

1. Money.
Thinking outside the box isn't even remotely profitable.

How many philosophers are well-regarded these days? Only those who are praised for "financial sense"... even though some of their comments would only serve as a nasty slap in the face to those executives.

2. I used to think there was something in the water
The out right blindness was disturbing to me. I have never been able to reconcile in my own head HOW he pulled all of this off.

3. Never underestimate the stupidity
of the American people. We are barely smart enough to sustain a democracy, and that's up for debate.

5. Intentionally kept stupid ...
The LAST thing this cabal wants is an informed, intelligent electorate -- such a group wouldn't have STOOD for their fascist takeover scheme.

They want us scared (terra, terra, terra), working our fingers to the bone (bankruptcy bill, policies that favor banks/credit card companies and corporations and discourages organized labor) and compliant. Just take these crumbs, you peons, and BE HAPPY ABOUT IT!

:dilemma:

4. We're fighting them over there because we couldn't get
them to come over here and take flight training in our schools and military bases. Not a bad idea when you think about it.

6. “No one ever went broke..."
"... underestimating the intelligence of the American people." - HL Mencken (though some attribute this to PT Barnum).

Fact is, the greedier somebody is, the stupider they get. Any two-bit con artist can tell you that. Americans are raised to be greedy, hence we get stupid at times. REALLY stupid.

So it's sort of about BOTH the stupid AND the money.

7. Another thing that has always...
irritated me is when they would have focus groups and they would say
" He's a strong leader" or he's a protecting this country. That strong leader and he's a godly man makes me want to slap some sense in to the person or choke some sense into them and it really gets me when I see someone who says it who i know has to know better. I know damn well anyone can see that he is dumber than a doorknob, and can't lead his way out of a paper bag. To top it off these people have the nerve to get angry if you speak your opinion and want to kill you to protect this dumb ------------- you all fill in the blanks.
