2. From the article
Two things are clear, the sources said: either Rove will agree to enter into a plea deal with Fitzgerald or he will be charged with a crime, but he will not be exonerated for the role he played in the leak.

14. She's into a litlle bit of everything!
"Ralston previously worked as a personal secretary to Jack Abramoff, the Republican power lobbyist now under investigation for allegedly defrauding Indian tribes who was recently indicted on conspiracy and wire fraud charges. While working with Abramoff, Ralston arranged fundraisers and events at Washington MCI Center skyboxes for members of Congress and their staff."

GO, FITZ!!!

And I plan to enjoy my Fitzmas, pt. 2. During Fitzmas, pt. 1, I um, really enjoyed myself. By myself. Next time, I might have to find some company.

12. It is amazing how stupid they think Fitzgerald is: she tells him
calls don't get logged if they happen a certain way.

He checks

They do get logged.

Get your affairs in order Susan

Enjoy your last Christmas on the outside for a while

13. If this is any indication - YES!
"Earlier this month, attorneys say Fitzgerald received additional testimony from Ralston -- who said that Rove instructed her not to log a phone call Rove had with Cooper about Plame in July 2003."

15. Why all the secrecy Rove--if you "didn't" know Plame was undercover?
Don't you find it odd that Rove went to great lengths to cover his tracks in talking to reporters about Plame if he "didn't" know she was undercover? Of course he knew he was breaking laws, that's why he asked that calls not be logged. Is there any other explanation for this odd behavior?

16. He "forgot." The whole administration is having a mass memory lapse
Rove’s lawyer, Robert Luskin, maintains that his client did not intentionally withhold facts from the prosecutor or grand jury but simply forgot about his conversations with Cooper. But sources say Rove’s reasons for not being forthcoming have not convinced Fitzgerald that Rove had a momentary lapse.

And here he shows a guilty conscience. He instructed Ralston to not log the call because he knew it was wrong:

Earlier this month, attorneys say Fitzgerald received additional testimony from Ralston -- who said that Rove instructed her not to log a phone call Rove had with Cooper about Plame in July 2003.

But then the source says this:

Rove does not appear to be in jeopardy of being charged with violating a law making it a crime to leak the name of a covert CIA agent because it’s unlikely that he was unaware that Plame was undercover, they added.

Aside from not being able to follow this sentence's logic, it doesn't seem to me that he was unaware that leaking her identity was wrong since he had instructed his assistant to not log the call.
