1. I can't wait
Yet, I think the current Congress should be pared down about 90%. They're all mostly criminals, in my mind.

6. They don't have any more trump cards
they blew their last one during Katrina when they tried to put the country under military control.

11. Do you think that will be the last attempt at military control?
Maybe the next threat will achieve that, before all these pesky federal investigations complete their reports.

9. That trump card being the economy?

The same reason Iran-Contra went nowhere, if the truth were fully known, and the Saudis have so much sway over the economy, it could have economy-shattering consequences. I have no doubt that the truth will/is out, but who will listen to it?

13. Maybe we should tone down our glee.
I just read an AP article in our local rag that mentioned Sen. Dorgan (D-North Dakota) as having gotten $95,000 in "Abramoff-related" money between 2001 and 2004. I've got a feeling we're going to be very disappointed in some Democrats.

14. Going to be disappointed?
Hah, there's a whole slew of dems were are pissed at already. We call it DEM INC.

Of course our real enemy is right behind that bush, so it'd be stupid for us to shoot the ones on our side of the hill, eh?

15. Agree ---- It works the same for all of them, but I am ok with
throwing all of them out, if you are not for the people, if you don't honestly work to better people's lives, then you don't need to be on the people's payroll.
