Republicans seize on Hillary Clinton's planned fundraising visit
While Kentucky Democratic Party leaders were all smiles about landing U.S. Sen. Hillary Clinton for a Louisville fundraiser next month, state Republicans were eager to pounce.

Within hours, the state Republican Party sent out a press release painting Clinton as a "Northeast liberal" and essentially daring Democrats to associate with her.

"It will be interesting to see which of the `conservative members' of the Democrat House and Senate caucuses show up to embrace her liberal agenda," GOP chairman Darrell Brock said.

<snip>

"We love it when they bring in a New York liberal for a photo op with local Democrats who try to convince us the rest of the time that they're really conservative," said Jefferson County GOP Chairman Jack Richardson IV. "This just helps us establish that they're really as liberal as the rest of the national leadership and out of touch with the values of our community."

2. Wait...is she a "New York liberal" or a "carpetbagger" ?
:shrug:

One day they call her one thing, the next day something different.

I'm so confused. :eyes:

... and take people's pictures standing next to Kentucky Repugnantcans. After all, it's not often you get a chance to see people like that unless you pay admission first at the carnival booth. :D

6. Well, Jack, I'm a Virginian, and I loved it when the RNC decided ...
it would be a good idea to send a coked-up drunk to campaign for the Repug gubernatorial candidate. How'd that work out for you, ass holes?
