himself up to the conversation on this particular subject, did he not? I didn't watch him. I read this line and I thought, hmm, by his outright denial, by his directly speaking to this issue, he has now opened the floor for public discussion on it. No?

This is the line I read

I mean people were already talking about it. Polls show many Americans already believe that he/they manipulated and misled the US on the war. It just seems to me that now, with his direct, public remarks he opens himself up on this issue in a new way.

It's nothing new, it's the same old "bushit" they hear the public grumbling, they hear people disagree with the line of bullshit the WH is selling so the WH publicly denies the public sentiments.

Chumpy just supremely stepped in it; he just opened himself up on this issue.

btw, did you notice the EYES on the guy sitting behind him? Try to catch a replay of the speech. It was probably the lights shining on the guys glasses, but he looked like something out of some sci-fi movie, where the aliens take over human bodies, and have weird brightly glowing eyes. Very strange (yet apropos, somehow)!
