Hey Tweety: STFU!
Edited on Mon Oct-31-05 08:10 PM by ruggerson
I realize you are bipolar and that tomorrow you will be saying the opposite of what you are saying today, but:

1) Calling Alito on his credentials as a supposed "tough" prosecutor by pointing out that he let 20 mobsters WALK is in NO WAY, SHAPE OR FORM bashing his ethnicity. You are virtually insane for thinking it is, and it just highlights how overly sensitive you are about any Catholic who comes under any kind of scrutiny.

2) The Democratic party is AGAINST government interfering with family's private decisions: we believe in liberty and freedom from interference by Big Brother Government. Because we refuse YOUR simplistic definitions of "pro choice" vs "pro life" means only that we understand the complexities of the issue and see them within the context of a broad theme that includes numerous privacy rights. The Democrats believe in PRIVACY in our homes and our medical decisions. The Republicans don't. Can you get that through your thick, bipolar head?

1. And Tweety believes in his MSNBC overlords from whom all
great big salaries flow. After reading the indictment and hearing Cheney's office complained about him, he is running scared.

Catholic, bah. He's a corporatist. Period.

5. I thought Repubs claimed they HATE ethnic labels
Edited on Mon Oct-31-05 08:15 PM by kevinbgoode
We need to STOP repeating their stupid words, especially if they are not true. And someone needs to SAY something to Tweety about the difference between race and nationality. Maybe like point out that he is an AMERICAN. And then someone needs the balls to point out that the Republicans used a religious litmus test for Miers.

6. I don't understand why Dean had such a hard time
saying pro-choice. He drew more attention to himself by not admitting it, like it's a bad thing. Would self-determination be a better meme?
He's never going to please everyone. But he just gave Tweety more slither room.

7. Disagree. Dean was right.
They use "pro choice" as a club to hit us over the head and infer that we are all "pro abortion" baby killers.

The issue is about privacy rights.

Republicans are for government making laws about private family medical decisions.

Democrats are against government making laws about private family medical decisions.

11. I don't know. Choice indicates one way or another.
Maybe we should embrace the concept instead of avoiding it. I'm sure there are many liberals who are for pro-choice but don't believe in abortions, probably repugs also.

8. He's obnoxious, I agree with you
and his harassing Dean with the Democratic Party pro-choice monologue was pathetic.

But please don't throw the term bipolar around like an insult.

Tweety's mannerisms are rude and sometimes contradictory. Judge him on that and similar bases, but please don't use bipolar as an unflattering adjective.

10. Yes, I think you're right ...
However, there's something FREAKISH about his "flight of thoughts" when Tweety gets his feather's ruffled. Yes, apologies to those good people who suffer from Bipolar Disorder.

IMO, Tweety's just an a**hole with a quirky nervous system. ;)

12. Sure
of course no offense was meant to anyone with a true medical condition.

It was meant as a non clinical way of describing his inconsistent personality characteristics.

:hi:
