Need help DU'ing a local yocal poll...

I know it doesn't sound political.. but trust me... IT IS HERE IN ANCHORAGE!

Here's the deal --- our Democratic Mayor has been trying for YEARS to get the worst intersection in Anchorage fixed. Believe me, it's a PATHETIC intersection that has needed work for the past 15+ years.

The residents voted 2 years ago to FINALLY re-construct this horrific intersection.

For the 1st time in decades, we unfortunatly lost the Assembly to the righties by two members about 4 months ago.

The money has been secured to fix our crappy intersection, and work has begun on it.

NOW... because the righties have a small majority on the Assembly, they don't want a Democratic mayor getting anything done. So they voted to postpone fixing this pathetic intesection last night until 2012 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's why voting on that site matters: This station is aired across the state of Alaska, and the outcome of the vote is announced at 10:00 p.m. Alaska time statewide, and is also put into the Anchorage Daily News the next day. It makes a huge difference!

You don't need to write comments, just help us out and vote "HIGH Priority" ... Our Democratic Mayor, Mark Begich, is up for re-election next year, and this jerk of an assembly will do anything to stop his agenda.
