I just submitted the following comment to Moveon.org and it needs to be "rated up" for them to listen to it....

A National Call to Action, RE: Independent Katrina Commission

I would like to thank MoveOn.org for beginning a campaign to demand an independent Katrina Commission. I, however, ask Moveon.org to drastically “step up” this campaign.

Despite the overwhelming support for holding an independent commission among the American public, the Democrats seem to have placed this demand on the back burner and the lack of visibility this issue has seen in the past few weeks threatens to placate the public demands.

Because of this overwhelming public support, any added visibility and awareness raised by organized campaigns will be very effective in moving us towards the political “tipping point” on this issue, especially within the context of next year’s midterm election.

I urge MoveOn.org to declare a “National Call to Action” demanding an independent Katrina Commission complete with local protests around the country and media campaign.
