the same bunch of stupid-ass slogans instead of giving us actual facts about how the war is going. Not one word about who did what and what is happening, but tons of guff about freedom and democracy and terror's goals and all that.

I laughed pretty much continuously.

Why does he even bother now? We all know the gig is up; all but his most rabid supporters are dropping away.

I'm waiting for him to say, "Ah, screw it," and just come out and do hand tricks with rubber bands.

Bush's own ineptitude explains why he can appoint someone with no qualifications to the Supreme Court, to head FEMA. Stay drunk till you're forty, dabble in politics, become President, get re-elected. Give everyone a shot. Experience is overrated.
