Early on, they were to busy looking for links to Iraq to pay any attention to the obvious motives behind someone targetting people on Bill O'Reilly and Rush's hate list.

3. Something odd in Washington DC

Due to my work, I lobby Congress at least once or twice a year.

Two years ago, when lobbying in the Capitol and Congressional office buildings, there were hundreds of these huge wooden cabinets everywhere in hallways, sort of like overgrown stereo speakers.

We were told by staffers these were "detectors" for bioterrorism, put in place after the anthrax attacks. They even triggered an alert during a meeting with a staffer, which was duly ignored by everyone.

One year later, these big boxes were nowhere to be found.

The anthrax attacks served their purpose, whatever that was.

Most likely scenerio:

Some nutball in the Army or CIA was testing a secret weapons program to see if anthrax could be dispensed as a weapon in the mail. He/she made sure that the intended recipients knew that they were exposed so that they could be treated. Used the 9-11 attack as a cover, mailings would be attributed to al Qaeda even though they did not match al Qaeda MO. Did not realize that the stuff would leak, causing other people to get exposed and die without warning. Oopsie. Time for a cover up and finger pointing.

The US military has conducted lots of experiments on the US population at large before. This wouldnt be the first time they have used us as their guinea pigs. They think they are doing it to protect us, blah blah blah...
