Welcome, right wing Dems
There's a LOT of you posting here of late. I just want to correct you on something.

The Iraq "War" is NOT WINNABLE. Throwing more troops at it doesn't make sense or keep us "safe from terrorists".

And by the way, "Profit" is not the same as "Victory" though many seem to think that is the point of war.

you can call it whatever you like, but "hard right" is NOT, and NEVER WILL BE, the "center"

The Center is located, in case you never looked up the definition, to the LEFT, substantially so, of HARD RIGHT.

no one seems to think appealing to a narrow sliver of the electorate wins elections except you guys on the right.
Exhibit "A" would be every national election since the mids in Clinton's last term. That's almost ten years, by the way.
The answer lies in stimulating the disgusted turned off non-voter into voting again by giving them a meaningful explanation of what we stand for.The answer lies in stimulating ALL 50 states and their parties, every year, all year, so people know Democrats are united and actually exist everywhere, as approximately 50% of the population at large. Howard Dean was really good at this.

Despite your rhetoric, things haven't been going well with your approach. The people have spoken loud and clear. Ease off and try to help.

1. Totally agree.
I just posted a topic that was similar, but less even in tone. This is probably more constructive.

2. I hope so.
I have to split, not a lot of time but I wanted to get this out there. I work with lots of right wing inclined folks, and despite their wrong headed politics, most are quite genteel and civilized.
Except for that whip thing.

4. Your 2008 candidates are running to this position on the war
Biden, Clinton....All are saying "stay the course", "winnable war", "more troops needed to win".

As a fiscal conservate, anti-war Democrat, this choice is almost as bad as another New England Yankee... almost but not quite. At least I can ask people to vote for these.
