Drudge claims Hillary is supporting Roberts
http://www.drudgereport.com/flash3hcr.htm

Senator Hillary Clinton has confided to associates that she intends to vote FOR Bush Supreme Court nominee John Roberts, the DRUDGE REPORT has learned.

Unless some unforeseen development occurs around Roberts, Clinton will throw her support behind confirmation, says a top source.

"Look, we're not thrilled President Bush is in office and gets to make these choices," said a top Hillary source, "but we have to make the best of the situation until the next election!"

With her support of Roberts, Clinton ignores pressure from the reactionary-activist wing of the Democrat party.

"She is simply doing what is right for the country, not MOVEON.ORG," the Clinton insider explained.

2. thanks for the moveon.org plug mr. drudge
gimmie a break--
hillary votes for this guy and we'll be able to hear the FLUSH of female voters for hillary going down the toilet.

i can't imagine her supporters will be too pleased. IF i was one of them i certainly wouldn't be very happy about this if it is true.

maybe the dems (especially those from the dlc) just say this crap but they have a "double top secret" plan to go after roberts and come the time the fur is gonna be flying.

yeah, sure.

3. Drudge reports Kerry- African woman affair
Whoops, it wasn't true!

Anyway, either way she votes on this won't prevent me from voting for her in 2008 as the first female president

4. Hillary R. Clinton for president?
No thanks.

I hope it's Dennis J. Kucinich, though I know it probably won't happen.

5. Drudge is a recycling HACK ... please at least consider NOT
posting his links? His only true claim to fame was through the Clinton Impeachments. Now he is the mouthpiece on every little "trial balloon" Rove's people want to fly.

Clicking on his nasty links only gives him inappropriate credibility. That is, all these stories can be sourced elsewhere.

Let's at least give this pseudo-journalistic report a kick back into obscurity by not posting his links?

7. If it pains you that much, don't click on it
But I check out a lot of RW sites, including Drudge, on a regular basis. I like to know what the enemy is up to and what kind of lies they are spreading.

6. If she does we're looking at 90+ votes for confirmation
I was originally thinking about 70 votes for confirmation.

But if the Senate Dems just feel that its not worth a fight over a done issue, then I see little opposition to his nomination.
