The Associated Press
President Bush said Monday that if anyone on his staff committed a crime in the CIA-leak case, that person will "no longer work in my administration." His statement represented a shift from a previous comment, when he said that he would fire anyone shown to have leaked information that exposed the identity of a CIA officer.

At the same time, Bush yet again sidestepped a question on the role of his top political adviser, Karl Rove, in the matter.

"We have a serious ongoing investigation here and it's being played out in the press," Bush said at an East Room news conference. Click here to read more.

1. I vote in these polls all of the time but does the media ever
even talk about them ? I don't get to watch the evening news very often so I am a little in the dark.

On the other hand, I check DU quite often and never see a comment on here about the media reporting the incredible negative killer results that indicate everyone hates Bush.

2. Done.
These polls do some good, though. The news agencies see their value or they wouldn't do them. They tell somebody something, so I always vote on them.

And I actually think the polls are there to get folks to go to the website so they can up their ad rates for the websites.

80/20 against Bush, though you wouldn't know it from the tenor of the reporting on this.

The Republican corporate media will have to keep distracting, deflecting and minimizing Cheney's treason until they can get a poll that says 51% of the people support Bush's corruption.

At which point they will trumpet how 'A majority of Americans support President Bush on this.' and can turn on their 'Democrats are playing politics with America's security.' firehoses to choke off any threat to Republicans.
